The present invention relates to a device and method for monitoring on a road and a road structure, and more particularly, to a device and method for monitoring a road surface to monitor a road surface condition, and a road structure capable of detecting an irregularity of a road surface condition of a road where no vehicle travels.
2. Description of the Related Art
Recently, many studies have been made on a system of automatically detecting an irregularity of a road surface, in which a vehicle travels, and performing an automatic alert based on the detected irregularity in order to prevent vehicle accidents.
The system for automatically detecting an irregularity of a road surface includes a system for detecting a road surface condition from images of a lane obtained by imaging the right and left lanes of a road using a camera mounted on a vehicle, a system for detecting a road surface condition from an image obtained by a light detection and ranging (lidar) sensor mounted on the rear side of the vehicle, a system for measuring a variation of a yaw angle to detect an irregularity of a road surface, and a system for detecting a road surface condition from an angle variation of a ac619d1d87
